From 21st to 26th July, our colleague Damnjan had the privilege of representing our team at the Eastern European Machine Learning School (EEML) in Sarajevo, one of the most prominent gatherings of machine learning professionals and enthusiasts in the region.
The school provided a unique opportunity to learn from leading ML researchers and to exchange experiences with peers from various industries. We were especially proud to present our team project, “Roof Tile Classification System: Implementation of a 5-step multimodal classifier in a roof-tile factory,” demonstrating how our team at BIRG Tech bridges the gap between research and real-world industrial applications.
Beyond the academic and technical sessions, EEML offered an excellent platform for networking and idea exchange across Eastern Europe. Our participation reinforced the belief that science and industry go hand in hand, and the knowledge and connections gained in Sarajevo will inspire our future projects.
We extend our sincere thanks to the organizers and all participants for sharing their expertise and enthusiasm. We look forward to future opportunities to collaborate and learn together.
