We were proud to support the Summer School on Machine Learning for Scientific Research, held from 1st to 9th August at the Petnica Science Center, which brought together 30 participants and numerous lecturers from academia and industry.
Over ten days of intensive lectures, workshops, and hands-on sessions, participants explored a wide range of topics including statistical learning, neural networks, causal inference, uncertainty estimation, optimization, graph neural networks, reinforcement learning, and many more areas at the intersection of science and technology.
We are especially proud that our colleague Damnjan joined as a lecturer, sharing his knowledge and expertise in ML. His contribution highlighted the importance of bridging academia and industry to drive progress in scientific research.
Beyond the academic program, the school also included informal activities such as a Valjevo city tour, hiking at Gradac river, and discussion sessions, giving participants the chance to connect and lay the foundations for future collaborations.
